Boho Clutch Purse Linen Lace Dark Brown Tortoiseshell Lucite Rikes Made in Italy Vintage
Description
A darling vintage cream color linen and hand stitched boho style lace clutch purse made in Italy for the Rikes department store in Dayton, Ohio. The dark brown handles are either tortoiseshell or lucite and are in wonderful condition. It is mostly like from the late 1950's, early 60's as Rikes consolidated with Federated Department stores in 1959.
The linen and lace on the exterior is in very good condition, no tears or holes, only some slight smudges on the back of the purse that can be seen in one of the pictures. The inside is also in good condition, the linen has started to yellow with time and some minor small stains. The zipper on the inner pocket still works fine. Overall, it's a very nice and unique purse for its age.
It measures approximately 7 inches high by 12 inches wide and opens to approximately 5 inches wide.
