Rug Hooking Pattern, "North House Folk School" , On Primitive Linen 27"x 42" P126

This listing is for the rug hooking pattern "North House Folk School".
The design is 27 inches x 42 inches and is hand drawn on primitive linen with 4" inch borders. The edges of the backing fabric have been zigzagged to prevent raveling.

North House Folk School is located in Grand Marais, Minnesota on the north shore of Lake Superior. My husband and I spend time up there every summer when I teach a 3 day rug hooking class in the "blue building." http://www.northhouse.org/ I designed this rug from photos taken from out on the lake. This is the first in a series of rugs I designed to remember my time in Grand Marais, on the shore of the lake.
