The warp, the yarn that runs from hem to hem, is a fine cotton in a variegated blue that travels from barely there to evening sky. The soft gray weft, the yarn that is woven between the warp threads, is a soft cotton yarn of the type often found in knitted dish clothes. I discovered this combination makes for a delightfully absorbent, soft towel ideal for all the uses of the kitchen as well as for simply drying one's hands.
