Vintage Smith-Corona typewriter with tweed carrying case, 1953 model. This vintage manual typewriter is heavy brown metal with green keys and the logo Smith-Corona on the front. The serial number shows it is a 1953 model. The key is tied to the handle (apparently with the original string!).

I have oiled this manual Smith Corona typewriter and fixed the ribbon. However, the keys are stiff. Some of them will go back and forth easily, others will tangle. But very few if any are actually bent. I suggest this typewriter be used for display only in a midcentury office theme.

Feel free to request more photos.

There are two large horizontal scratches on the front as shown in image #1. Otherwise the machine is in excellent condition and the case is in very good condition. It has been in my family all these years, stored away. The case is 13 1/4" x 13 1/4" x 6". The typewriter plus case weighs about 19 lbs.

If you are in Los Angeles, we can arrange pick-up and I can refund the shipping charge.
