The finish is poor and doesn't extend to the edges. Also a weird stain from the adhesive on the bottom which limits the designs I can use when plating. If I wasn't already planning to bezel set this stone and on a time crunch I would send it back. Will not be making purchases from you in the future.

This is confusing. Buyer contacted after she received gemstone and said she loved it, the color, matrix, etc and she was excited to use it. No mention of "poor" finish or a stain. She is new to jewelry making and asked if it was okay to set stone in bezel, which is what we recommend for all turquoise gemstones. No adhesive is used on the stones. The lapidary studio that cuts the stones uses regular tape to temporarily place gemstones on card. Almost every gemstone cutter does the same as turquoise is a soft gemstone displaying on cards prevents damage. We have sold tens of thousands of turquoise cabochons all set this way without ever a complaint in past. If any tape residue is ever left on any stone regular nail polish remover or vinegar, even peanut butter will easily remove it on turquoise or any stone.
