Stangl from the wilds of Trenton, N.J., turned out some pretty interesting dinnerware back in the day, including these four dinner plates marked Chaff and also known as Celery, with a textured finish and in beige and white. Each of these plates measures 10 3/4 inches across. The back stamp reads TO Oven Table Dishwasher and says it's hand-painted, the Stangl mark and then Chaff with a copyright.
Vintage, used plates have wear and surface scratches consistent with use and age. See photos.
