KeepersDollyDuds has partnered with well known pattern developer/ designer Thimbles and Acorns to bring you the another KeepersDollyDuds Design Pattern.

Make your own pretty 1770's dress, apron, long eared cap and fichu to fit your 18" doll. View A & B dresses feature: Fasten at the back with thread loops and buttons, the necklines are trimmed in a pretty ruffle, the sleeves feature double ruffles and a lace trimmed fichu.
View A has applied ruching around the neck line and down the front bodice as well as around the sleeves above the ruffles.It has three bodice bands to tuck the fichu into. The long eared cap features a lace ruffle. View B has a plain bodice and a lace trimmed hemline, a pinner apron that ties at the back, and a self fabric ruffle trims the long eared cap.

To make this pattern you will need:

Dresses should be made from stable light to medium light weight woven fabrics such as: cotton types, cotton prints, dupioni, silk, jacard,shantung etc.

View A Dress:
2/3 yard fabric,
three 3/8" buttons
20" narrow lace

View B Dress:
1/2 yard fabric
three 3/8" buttons
62" narrow lace

Apron, Cap, Fichu, sleeve ruffles ( View B):
1 yard of batiste, cotton voile, silk, or cotton lawn

Notions for Cap View A:
5"length of 3/8" wide elastic
20" of 1- 1/4" wide lace

Notions for Cap View B:
5"length of 3/8" wide elastic
Notions for Fichu:
24" narrow lace

Notions for Apron:
Two 1/2" long straight pins, (can be found at most craft stores)
