This is a sweet and lovely reticule that was owned by “Esther M. Peacock”

It is fashioned out of cotton shirting and measures 12 inches wide by 13 inches in length. It is machine sewn and still retains its original cotton tape draw-string.

It is in excellent condition with no rips, holes or tears, but there is some foxing of the fabric. It dates to the late 19th C.
