A Photoshop illustration of my photo of the bell tower in the town hall of Norwood, Mass.

The town hall has always fascinated me, especially that tower peeking up above the trees and visible from different angles in the town's center. It's a beautiful structure in stone, and it often reminds me of a castle, although at times others are reminded of a church. It invites imaginings. Perhaps a gentle hunchback guides the ringing bells far from view. Maybe a princess with long, braided hair lives there, maybe silent monks or simply the town bell ringer climbs the stairs each day, hits a few buttons and the bells chime all through town. In any case, I love it.

Hopefully you will, too.
