Robinson Ransbottom Matte Green Mottled Glaze Cityscape Vase, Art Deco American Pottery, RRPCo

One of the manufacturers in Roseville, Ohio, Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co produced Art Deco style pottery in the 1930s. This piece has a "city sky-scraper" feel with the body and side detailing. Their mottled "Victoria" glaze treatment was a white splattered over another glaze color in a semi-matte satin finish. On this one the white mottling picked up the green coloring of the under glaze and produced a beautiful tone on tone coloring, I would call it a juniper green. Measures 8" tall, 4 3/8" upper diameter. In good vintage condition, especially for being around 80 yrs old! No chips or cracks, although the glaze has several small imperfections as typical to manufacturing. Marked on the bottom "USA 190\". Great Art Deco collector piece!
