This is a print of an original acrylic and gouache painting by me, brigette b.

The image itself is oval, but the print measures 8.5"x11", with a white border on all sides for framing.

This is a frequent scene in my neighborhood: a pair of shoes strung over a telephone line, with a mockingbird's song in the air, above the hum and burble of the traffic. Mr. Mockingbird is always hanging around and making himself heard. When I made this piece, the jacaranda trees were all blossom, with their big purple flowers scattering all over the streets. It's a little slice of Los Angeles.

Printed with an Epson R1900 on ultra premium matte presentation paper. This print is archival quality, and according to Epson it should last about 100 years without fading or getting otherwise messed up (whoa). Each print comes to you in a cellophane sleeve and stiff envelope, numbered and signed by the artist.

Thanks for lookin'!
