My husband painted the original Foo dog artwork as a watercolor painting. Foo Dogs are actually Statues of Guardian Lions have traditionally stood in front of Chinese Imperial palaces, Imperial tombs, temples, and the homes of officials and the wealthy, from the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), and were believed to have powerful mythic protective benefits. This design also has cool turquoise carved beads incorporated in the design.

Cards measure 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" and are printed 12Pt on gloss white card stock, with red envelopes, packaged in clear plastic sleeve
