This is a beautifully made jacket with rounded shoulders, sculpted without the use of shoulder pads.

It comes in at the waist and curves over the hips for a very flattering silhouette, evocative a Victorian style jacket.

The fabric is black brocade in a leaf pattern with quilt stitching on the lapels, which can lie flat or upright for a more dramatic look.

There are several seams at the back and front of the jacket, which adds to the sculptural look and flattering silhouette.

There are 3 small pockets, which have also been beautifully finished, and the 3 diamante buttons finish off this stunning jacket.

N.B. In the photos, there are 2 stones missing on the lower button. I have since replaced these with almost identical vintage stones, so the jacket is now in excellent vintage condition.

There are no labels on this item but, I suspect the fabric is a silk and wool or cotton mix.

it is a Uk size 6-8, waist is 25" and Bust 33-34" and 18" length from back collar
