As much as I love this basket, my storage preferences lean much more toward clear plastic containers; but I know someone out there will give it the attention it deserves!

My grandmother used this basket for many many years to store her sewing notions -- thread, needles, scissors, thimbles, and all sorts of things.

I don't know where it came from originally, but the symbol stamped in the bottom looks Chinese (at least to me). It's been in my family for many years, always stored in a dry place and in a non-smoking home.

The basket and its lid are, I believe, made entirely from bamboo. There are two D-rings attached to the top, attached with twine (I'm pretty sure my grandmother did that).

It's nice and sturdy, and it's pretty roomy. The basket is about 9" in diameter and a little over 4" deep. The lid fits perfectly. The basket and its lid feature several different sizes of material woven in a variety of patterns.

Don't you need a cool basket like this for your stuff?
:-)

Frequently asked questions about time2split

Most of the items in my shop can be ordered in multiple quantities, which you select from a dropdown menu. If you aren't able to order the exact quantity you need, please contact me to have a custom order created.

I can create just about any size card, tag, or envelope you might need. Contact me for any custom requests (please provide number of items you need, size needed, and where you're located so I can give you an accurate quote).
Chipboard, which is sometimes referred to as paperboard, is basically cardboard that's not corrugated. It is made of recycled paper (not wood) which is compressed into a paperboard. Chipboard has a "grain", with one direction being sturdier than the other. The lightweight chipboard I offer (.022" thick) is the thickness/weight of a cereal or cracker box. The heavyweight chipboard (.05" thick) is almost as thick as a penny. Chipboard comes in Kraft (brown) and News (gray), White, and Black. White chipboard is clay coated, with the coating applied to only one side of the chipboard (the other side is either kraft or news).
All printers are different, so you would need to check the specifications for your personal printer. Lightweight chipboard will fit through some printers, but I have no way of knowing which ones. Medium and heavyweight won't work in any type of home printer. If you want to do a test, try printing on a piece of cardboard cut from a cereal or cracker box (similar in thickness to the lightweight).

When printing on chipboard, make sure your printer settings are for heavyweight cardstock (I use the highest/heaviest setting for my printer). You'll also need to feed the chipboard through so the paper grain runs parallel to the print rollers - chipboard will curl more easily in one direction than the other.
I can customize most of the printed items I have listed, and I also print wedding invitations, tags, and other items that aren't listed in my shop. Prices will vary, depending on what you need.

If you need a logo printed on something, or you need special graphics created, please contact me before placing an order so I can discuss the details with you.

NOTE: Printing in white or light opaque colors is not an option. That type of printing requires a specialized printer (it cannot be done on a standard laser or inkjet printer) and specialized inks. You can Google "printing in white" and see more information.
I have coupon codes for those of you who are spending a little more. Only ONE Coupon Code may be used per transaction, so choose the one that works best for you. Refer to this link on how to use Coupon Codes, to ensure you receive your discount: http://www.etsy.com/help/article/350

You MUST use the Coupon Code when you check out to receive the discount; discounts will not be honored after you've checked out, and they're not retroactive (i.e., they only apply to your current order, not past orders).

You can find all available coupon codes in my shop announcement.
Yes, there are a couple of listings for samples in my shop, and I can put together a custom listing for you if you need something specific. Contact me if you'd like samples, tell me what type of cardstock/paper/chipboard you're interested in, and provide your location so I can quote a price for you.
Please contact me with any special requests (for example, items in a certain size or special quantity). In order to provide you with an accurate quote, I need to have the following information:
- What size are you looking for?
- What material?
- Any special treatment? (holes punched, rounded or square corners)
- How many?
- Where are you? (in order to quote shipping)
Note that custom orders must be purchased before I begin work on them.

Custom listings will be left active for a maximum of three days, so please be ready to purchase when you request a listing.

Quotes are valid for 14 days. After that, prices are subject to change.
Most of my products are set up to calculate shipping cost automatically, based on weight and size of the package. In some instances, Etsy's calculated shipping functionality doesn't work as well as it should, and you may pay more than necessary. In those instances, I refund shipping overpayments, at the time I print your shipping label. Refunds are submitted against your original method of payment (i.e., PayPal or your credit card) and should show up within a few days after you receive notification.
Yes! You can select to upgrade to Priority Mail or Express Mail shipping in your cart when you check out. Please note that selecting one of these shipping methods does NOT alter the processing time; it simply affects the method of shipping.

If you need your order shipped more quickly than the processing time indicates, please contact me before you place your order, and I'll see if I can accommodate your schedule. Note that same-day or next-day shipping may result in additional charges, as I may have to take the time to drive your package to the post office.

All orders are shipped as quickly as possible, processed in the order received.
A shipping notification with tracking info is sent to the email address you have on file with Etsy when your package is shipped.

I ship to the Etsy address on your receipt. If you used an incorrect address, I'm not able to change it after the order has been placed. If this is the case, I'll ask that you reorder the same items and provide the correct mailing address so your package reaches you; the first order can be cancelled.

If your package is returned to me by the postal service (due to incorrect address, or because it wasn't retrieved from the post office), I will contact you. You may opt to pay the shipping cost to have it resent; or, if the item is not a custom order, I will refund the product cost less a restocking fee.
