Turn your t-shirts into a treasure! I've had the joy of making many of these for friends, family and clients. They are easy and fun - each one turns out so unique - and they make great gifts, especially for graduations and other milestones. Over the years, I developed my own "quilt as you go" technique for these blocks that produces a lovely professional result with an overall cross hatch grid effect. My downloadable pattern includes over 7 pages of detailed instructions that are beginner friendly and suitable for any skill level. The pattern provides yardage and supply amounts for making three different sizes. Choose the size that's right for you! This pattern comes with my success guarantee - meaning I am available by email or Etsy convo to answer any questions to insure your success because I want you to LOVE IT!

Just finished my first one, it came out very cute! Be very careful when sewing all the layers together as I had to get the seam ripper out on the edges of two of the banners that didn’t get under the needle. After I finishing up the sewing and turning it right-side out, I gave it a good press and then sewed around the entire top mantle piece (not the banners) to sew closed the opening and to give it crisp edges. Darling, will make more!!
