Learn how to correctly measure your dog: Use a soft tape measure or wide rope to take the measurements. Do not use a hard straight ruler or carpenters tape measure. When measuring the back length, your dog must be standing straight with his/her head up. If your dog is lying down or sitting, his/her back length will be longer than the actual length. Measure from the base of the neck (just in front of the shoulder blades) to the base of tail. Do not measure from where the collar sits. The coat length should be the same or longer by 1 to 2 inches as your dogs’ back length.
A. Start at the base of the neck just in front of the shoulder blades (not from the collar) and go to the base of the tail.
B: Chest Girth An image showing how to measure a dogs chest girth Girth or circumference of the chest at the thickest point.
C: Chest Width An image showing how to measure a dogs chest width Horizontal distance across front of the chest.
D: Neck Girth An image showing how to measure a dogs neck girth Girth or circumference at the base of neck.
G: Tuckup Girth An image showing how to measure a dogs tuckup girth Girth or circumference of the tuck-up area (just in front of the hind legs).

This dog kilt is the most beautiful and well made item that I have ever purchased for my dog. My Westie looks amazing in it. It is lined with soft material that my dog loves. It is made with love and intricate details. If I were to buy something like this, it would easily cost more than $100 given the level of artistic workmanship
