FAQs:

What is a Shampoo Bar?
A Shampoo Bar is an all natural conditioning Shampoo in a solid bar form. Yes it really is shampoo. We make our Shampoo Bars with the same method as our soap products, cold process. Using the cold process method produces a very gentle and mild shampoo and helps keep all the nutrients and benefits from the goat's milk, oils and butters. If you have not used a Shampoo bar before, it might seem strange at first. Not to fret, it will naturally clean and condition your scalp and leave hair soft, clean and healthy.

Do Shampoo Bars lather well?
Though a bubbly lather is not required for getting things clean, People have to have their bubbles. We make our Shampoo Bar with oils like Coconut Oil and Castor Bean Oil to give you a nice, rich, bubbly lather.

How do you use a Shampoo Bar?
All you do is get the bar wet, get your hair soaking wet and rub the bar across your hair in strokes from front to back until you have covered your entire scalp. If you have long hair you can stroke once or twice down the length of your hair. (I find that i don't need to, I have enough lather from my scalp to work through my ends.) Massage Shampoo into your scalp, working the lather through your hair, working from front to back. (Helps with tangles) Rinse your hair for at least one minute to make sure you have rinsed all the soap out.
*Note: Using the bar in strokes vs circular motions and massaging gently will help prevent tangles.

How long will a Shampoo Bar last?
It really depends on what length of hair you have, how often you wash your hair and how many people are using the shampoo bar.. On average a shampoo bar will last 3-5 times longer than liquid shampoo, so about 2-3 months. Conditioner is usually not needed.

Do I still need Conditioner?
The answer is maybe. What are you really using conditioner for? Add softness and shine, detangle, add body and volume? Commercial Shampoos tend to strip your hair of its natural oils and cause damage to your hair. Conditioners help repair that damage. If you feel that your hair still needs conditioner after using the shampoo bar, you will only need about a teaspoon. Our Shampoo Bars are created with oils that help retain moisture to your hair. If you want a more natural conditioner that adds a little extra shine or detangle your hair, Why not try a Vinegar Rinse? It's amazing!! In a spray bottle add 1-2 TBS Apple Cider Vinegar and one cup of water. You also can add essential oils to help with the vinegar scent. Shake the Vinegar Rinse and spray your hair and scalp, slightly massaging as you spray. Leave in for 3-5 minutes and rinse out or use as a leave in conditioner after you have towel dried your hair.

Do I need a Vinegar Rinse/Conditioner?
It just depends:
Water: Living in hard water areas tend to dry out your hair.
Hair Length: Most people with short hair find that they don't need a Vinegar Rinse/Conditioner and some people with long hair find that they need a little more moisture to their ends.
Tangles: A Vinegar Rinse is great for tangles as well as a very light conditioner.
Hair Types: Everyone is blessed with different hair types. Everyone is going to have a different need for their hair.
