Description

This is a beautiful scarf. It is fun and colorful, and the zebra print makes it really classic. It is great the way the designer put the "rousseau" style border with the zebra motif: very fun.
This scarf is a large square, of high quality silk, hand rolled edges and is in excellent condition.
Because of the classic designs of Perry Ellis, it is hard to exactly date the year the scarf was made, but it seems to be in the fashion of the eighties, and it has been in my collection since the early 1990's.

Black and white and colorful. So many possibilities to accessory heaven.

I bought my first piece of Perry Ellis in 1980, 2 years after he broke out in the Fashion World. I still have those pants: they are such great quality and classic, I can easily wear them to this day. This scarf is another example of the Perry Ellis concept of fashion.

You can't have too many scarves. 33 by 33 inches

About Perry Ellis:
Ellis, together with The Vera Companies' parent company, founded his own fashion house, Perry Ellis International, in 1978. He opened his showroom on New York's Seventh Avenue. As the company's chairman and head designer he later developed Perry Ellis Menswear Collection – marked by "non-traditional, modern classics". Step by step, he added shoes, accessories, furs and perfume that all bear his name.
Highly praised professionally and personally, Ellis believed that "fashion dies when you take it too seriously."[6] Of Perry Ellis' fashion design, Michael Bastian remarked that "no one did it better...He was able to be modern and yet not come off antiseptic,"

What goes around, comes around.
Love of quality and beauty is happiness.
