It was manufactured between 1952-1969.
It is in good condition. However, the back side has a copper tint to it.
The molding surface is in very good condition.
This mold will make either a hollow or solid piece.
This mold is rated D3. See below for explanation.

The rating of chocolate molds: Page 60 in “Chocolate Moulds: A History and Encyclopedia” by Judene Divone copyright 1987
Molds listed “R” are Rare: due to age, the small number produced, the use of multiple pieces, or are designs rarely found in this country.
All other molds are rated by letter and number, from A-1 to D-4. The letter A is the highest rating, D the lowest; then further defined by the number.
The ratings take into consideration the type of mold (common or unique), its age, the manufacturer (styling and detail), the subject matter, and the number produced.

T.C. Weygandt & Co., New York City: 1885-1942 Agent for Anton Reiche. They did manufacture some molds in this country during the war years.. 1943-1968 Manufacturer. They reproduced some of Reiche’s molds, then developed their own line and used their own style numbers. The firm was dissolved in 1968 and the master dies destroyed. Markings: Stamped: T.C. Weygandt Co. New York on two lines. (Many of the molds made in the late 1950’s and 1960’s have no markings)

All of the molds I sell have been used in a candy making business between 1955-1985.
Signs of use are visible where the clips are put on and taken off around the sides.
Two to four clips will be included with the mold, depending on the size of the mold.

I will ship within 1-3 business days after purchase. When purchases are made by 1:00PM (EST), most times they will ship the same day. Insurance is included in the quoted shipping price on packages that weigh more than one pound. I will use USPS most of the time. The quoted price is for Priority Mail (2-3 days) USPS if it is over one pound. If it is less than one pound, I can ship First Class without insurance to save you money if the item is not fragile or valuable. The heaviest packages ship USPS Parcel Ground Select (5-9 days). I will mention that in the ad. Insurance can always be added at your request. The items are shipped from western New York. I use Etsy Calculated Shipping where Etsy will determine the price of shipping on a transaction. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. All items are sold "as is". Please read the description and view the photos carefully. For further information, please contact me BEFORE purchasing an item. I describe each item as best as I can. These items are VINTAGE and may have flaws due to prior use or manufacturer defect. Many Tupperware items appear "brand new" but some of them have been at least used for display purposes. Candy molds were used repeatedly in a candy store setting so they all show signs of use. I describe the condition of each one as I post online. Any questions, please contact me.
