More info:
The cherry blossom (sakura) is the quintessential Japanese idea of nature. It is the first to bloom in the spring, and is everywhere for 1-2 weeks and then fades away. This idea of transience is embedded deep in Japanese culture. They have huge blossom-viewing parties (called Hanami) to appreciate the beauty before it's gone. And that idea carries into other aspects of the culture. This painting is available in English or Japanese (the Japanese version includes a haiku by the poet Issa).

For non-customized orders, refunds will be issued within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. Customer must return artwork undamaged at their own shipping expense to receive refund. Shipping will not be refunded.

Shipping policies

Once you make your order, it will take me 3-5 days to paint it and ship it out to you. Once it's shipped, it will take about 7-11 days to reach you (USA and Europe), so count on 10-14 days between when you order and when your painting(s) will arrive. Unfortunately, tracking is not available.

All items are shipped in sealed cellophane bags inside an envelope. All items are sent via airmail, and are mailed as letters so I've never run into any customs issues, but if there are any customs duties they are customers' responsibility.

If you buy more than one item, you will only pay the shipping cost once.

With expedited shipping, you'll receive your item in 3-4 days but is about 3 times as expensive as regular airmail. With expedited shipping up to 30 items can be shipped in the same envelope for one price (to same address).
