Gray Cave Parrot
Parrot from the Lost Cave Paintings of Saint Paul
Print: 16x20.

Susan Gainen
Whimsical Wildlife Documentarian

I ordinarily imagine and excavate the Lost Cave Paintings from the comfort of my living room studio. Unlike real caves, it is remarkably free of rats and bats. This particular parrot -- perhaps the most realistic of all of my parrots -- was made as part of a demonstration of the Art of Cave Painting at Art-on-a-Line, an annual program of Northstar Watermedia Society. Now called "Artists' Market," it is one of the largest watercolor-only shows in the midwest.

Amazing to me -- every artist begins with blank paper and a tube of color. Each artists' work is different from every other.

Inquire about purchasing the original painting, which is 16x20.
