Meet Gilbert the garden gnome! I can't even begin to put into words how much I love garden gnomes. It is probably bordering on an obsession that I should seek counseling for. Seriously.

This knitting pattern from Danger Crafts will show you how to knit this adorable little gnome. From his pointy hat, to his beard and mustache, to his belt, to his expressive eyebrows, I'm sure this darling little fellow will charm his way right onto your needles. This pattern is so much fun to knit, and this is yet another pattern where I have included instructions on how to to work Gilbert in one piece so you have minimal finishing. If this seems terrifying to you, I have also included my normal knit-it-separately-and-sew-it-together-in-the-end directions as well. You pick, but either way, I promise knitting this pattern will make you smile as each little gnome limb starts to take shape. This pattern is very addicting and once you knit one gnome, you will find you want to fill your house with gnomes! Especially since once your friends and any kids you know see your finished gnome they are going to start putting in requests for their own. And garden gnomes are good luck, so it is a good thing to have them around.
