What is for sale is a rare North Star Stoneware Co blue, salt glazed stoneware 2 quart pitcher. The company only existed from 1892-1896 before going out of business an eventually being taken over by Red Wing Stoneware. One of the marks that North Star used was a star on the bottom and the star is still evident on this pitcher. There was a lot of competion in Red Wing, Minnesota due to the availability of clay in this region.

There is a minor chip on the inside rim. There is a minor chip on the outside of the spout. Aside from these couple chips, this pitcher is in great condition for its age. No restorations or repairs have been done to this piece.

This is a must have for the collector of rare and vintage pottery.

Any questions, please ask. Any additional pictures, not a problem.

I am pricing this piece at $350 and shipping in the USA is included in that price.

International shipping is available and please see shipping profile GREGS for international rates.
