essential oil blend Based on 4 Thieves Vinegar from 1700's it is a blend of Cinnamon, Cloves, Camphor, Wormwood, Campanula, Nutmeg, Lemongrass, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Tea Tree, sage and Lemon oils. We have blended this recipe for over 30 years !

PLAGUE OIL HISTORY:
As told for centuries that 4 young thieves blended these essential oils together so they could go into homes infected with the plague, steal the dead's items and continue living without getting sick themselves. It is still used as an antibacterial and immune booster today.
Our recipe was based on a copy of the Plague posters from the Old Museum of Marseille in the 1700's. Posted along with "Mortality" Laws of the time to stop the spread of the Plague. I also posted a picture I took while researching perfumes and essential oils in 2004, of the Ai^tre of Saint Maclou in Rouen France. The whole thing was carved in skull and cross bones from the Black Plague in 1348 and then a re-occurrence in the 1600's.

OUR RECIPE'S HISTORY:
Our version and many other versions of Plague oil have been around for centuries and most notably gained popularity again 30 years ago, when the Renaissance Festivals started in the early 1970's. Our recipe is from Judy Roods Recipe from 1978 and was handed down and shared by many as a great souvenir oil from the Renaissance fairs.Every Oiler on the circuit has a version, because whats a Renaissance fair without a cure for the Plague?

HOW TO USE IT:
To use our topical concentrate
-Put a few drops in a tart warmer.
-Rub a few drops on the bottoms of your feet and wrist.
(test first if you have sensitive skin, this oil contains raw cloves and cinnamon oil)

-Use as a room spray. simply use
-1/3 potato vodka,
-2/3 distilled or boiled water and

or if you prefer, I can make you 100 regular Incense Stixs to burn throughout your home. They smell fantastic!
