This listing is for the DIGITAL DOWNLOAD of pattern and 42 page PDF step by step tutorial with PHOTOS and clear instructions for the tiny top hat for Blythe doll shown. The hat has a wired brim, sash band, elastic cord strap for holding securely at various angles atop head. Can be altered to have taller or shorter sideband and wider or less wide brim. Can be made from various woven fabrics and interlinings. Is fully lined. Embellishments can be varied. The design is my own and is something that would sell well in my shop. Very cute. All instructions are in the English Language.
With this pattern/tutorial it will feel like you are sewing along with me. Every pattern/tutorial is a downloadable PDF (no waiting time - just purchase and download) that contains a list of supplies and tools, clear, detailed step by step instructions loaded with photos so you can follow along easily.
SKILL LEVEL: Easy-Intermediate. It is assumed with this tutorial that you possess basic sewing machine and hand-sewing skills. There is nothing particularly difficult about the sewing, but it is very small scale. You need to be comfortable sewing in that scale. I don't teach basic sewing machine skills at the moment. Conceivably you could make this outfit using hand-sewing entirely, but I do not and do not give instructions for that.
The hats shown are 2 possible variations of this hat design. One is a cotton quilting fabric, the other a woven woolen menswear.
