1968 was a wild year in music, politics and fashion. Pucci may have been working his magic in Italy but Leonard was rockin' Paris with their creations. Such vibrant printed silk delights, each dress is made fabric first and them sewn to hug and move with the body.

This is one of the few silk dresses that was made in France in 1968-70 time period. The fabric is unsigned, which is indicitive of this early manufacturing era. You'll find more vintage dresses from the 1970's available with the "Made in Italy" tag that take on a much more floral, rather than the Op Art feel of this "Made in France" piece. There is also a side label on the inside near the bottom hem. It reads : Sol Naturelle 2, or Natural Silk.

The colors are simply outstanding! Aztec influenced, the graphic nature of this print makes it exotic and wildly interesting to look at. This style was called the pullover, even though there is a back zipper entrance. The matching sash can be worn as a headband or low on the waist.

Luscious silk jersey fabric ebbs and flows when in motion. Wear this frock to the fanciest of parties and not only fit in but stand out! The colors and patterns are so difficult to create that when worn, you will be a walking work of art. A collectible dress for any fashionista or fashion enthusiast.
