This is a great tutorial for beginning painters to practice this technique. The instructions are clear, easy to follow. The results were so positive that I am going to do it again.

Pat is a talented artist and a patient and professional teacher. Her personal warmth and creativity drew out the best in each participant. I always felt encouraged and inspired as we worked through each day of the workshop...I learned a lot and met so many happy fellow attendees...exceeding my expectations.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. ..the setting was magnificent and the meals were exceptional. I hope I can return next summer.

I tried this tutorial twice. They came out okay but I wasn't too happy with my version since it didn't look like Pat's beautiful painting. My watercolor instructor said "Nancy you didn't leave any white on the flowers" The instructions didn't say to and I thought with the white background that would be enough white but I do think I should have left more white on them as the petals all looked the same. I may try it again at another time and see if it looks better than the previous two tries.
