Mothers: Bringers of Life, personalized Native American tribute to women; framed hand lettered print

Description

The Native Americans were proud of their women who were "bringers of life and teachers of children".
I especially like the words "magic and holiness" attributed to the role of mothers. Giving birth is indeed a life-changing experience. Those who teach children how to walk the red road of living with honesty and integrity are very important to the survival of humanity.

I have hand-lettered the original with my own style of Native American lettering. I based the "O" on the arrowhead, while the vertical letters are based on the arrow--straight and strong. The child is safely enclosed in an authentic cradle board.
Framed in natural oak wood 9" x 11" (23 x 25.5 cm.), I seal the back with a dust cover, and a strong hanger. Personalizing is free; type in "Notes" at checkout.
Double mats add to the beauty of this piece. The top cream mat is custom cut to reflect the Native American culture; it is placed over a teal bottom mat, also custom cut.
I ship Priority Mail (FREE!) two days after creating your order and will send you tracking information.
As a professional artist with three advanced art degrees, I guarantee my work to be of the highest quality. I began my company, Jacqueline Originals, in 1971, and have been lettering, drawing and painting for the last forty or so years.
If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 303-246-5136, or email, jackie [!at] n6media.com.

FAQs

I am happy to create custom orders. Just email me all the information so I have a visual idea of what you want. I will respond to you quickly
with information and an image if I have understood what you want.
Personalizing is free.
I personally gift wrap your order and hand-write a card (usually shown on the web page) with your specific message. Enter the words in the "Notes" box at checkout. If you want the recipient to have your name and address, add that.
The mat and frame sizes are listed with each description. An 11" x 14"
(28 x 35.5 cm.) mat fits in a 12" x 15" (30.5 x 38 cm.) frame (outside dimensions). An 8" x 10" (20 x 28 cm.) fits in a 9" x 11" (23 x 25.5 frame (outside dimensions). Frame openings are identical to mat outside dimensions. Hinged frames are available with a saying on one side and space for a photo on the other. Both are 5" x 7" openings.
