The Xiem Pro-Cutting Wires are for slicing and cutting of clay, and for cutting pots off the wheel without having to painfully wrap wires around your fingers.

The handles are made of thermoplastic and soft silicone for maximum comfort and durability. The wires are made of 49 super fine strands of stainless steel braided into 7 bundles of 7 strands each and then coated with a clear nylon plastic for flexibility, strength, and kink resistance.
