THE JOEY HAREM PANTS

With clever folded cuffs to keep your little one’s feet warm it made so much sense to name this baby harem pants pattern ‘joey’ for the way all marsupials keep their babies warm in a pouch.

Perfect for the little one who simply can’t keep socks on, of for adding another layer of warmth inside booties or shoes, our cuffs will stop that never ending sock hunt on a cold day. Comfort and warmth won’t cost style: dress them up with a ribbon tie, or keep it simple with twill tape, have the cuffs contrasting, you name it!

You’ll love our easy peasy waistband – no elastic casing or buttonholes for ties. A super fast sewing project for you that is so easy to wear. You’ll make multiple pairs for every small person in your life!

THE PADEMELON HAREM PANTS

The pademelon is abundant near our homes in Hobart. You’ll hear them thumping through the undergrowth: a solid little form darting here and there. And such a cute little face! This harem pants pattern has a generous ease in the seat and slim fitting legs to help your little one dart all about the place just like a pademelon! It has a contrasting bum patch, which can be made from knit or woven fabrics, which is perfect target for patting as they go past.

Our easy peasy waistband has no elastic casing or buttonholes to sew and is adjustable: a quick sew for you which is sure to get lots of wear as they grow.

LITTLE LEGGINGS

With a soft yoga waistband and leg cuffs, these little leggings are made for movement. You’ll love them too: no elastic casing, no hems, and no ironing. Yay!

Make them mixed, make them matched, make them warm and snuggly for pyjama pants, make them every way!

The perfect project for any season and certainly the perfect gift for a new bubba.

FAQs

It is hard to choose what size to make. We do our best to explain what sizes our models are wearing, how they fit, and the length of each garment. Chest sizes given are the upper limit for the fit of the garment and based on Australian sizing charts.

Our sizing is very similar to Target and Australian brand Cotton On, and a smidge smaller than Bonds and Pumpkin Patch.

Knit fabrics and knitted garments have more forgiveness in their sizing than woven fabric patterns because of the stretch involved.
We do offer seller rights, but we need to have a chat about it first. We like to make sure that there is only one seller for a design in any given area, and we like to have a great relationship with our makers. If you’d like to join our growing group of greatness, fill in the form found on our contact page at www.evieandessie.com and we’ll be in touch.
Yes, that’s the plan! We do have some designs cooking away. If you’d like to be notified when they are ready you can sign up to our mailing list on our website or favourite our store on Etsy. If there’s anything in particular you’d like to see, just shoot us a convo.
