Wrapped in quality recycled kraft paper and tied with a contrasting satin ribbon and co-ordinating gift tag.

Muliticoloured Tree of Light with beautiful swirling circles background and white flowers. The original mosaic was made mainly from stained glass, with each tiny piece cut and shaped by hand. I used lots of iridescent glass and there are also glass nuggets, millefiori, glass rondels, smalti and pebbles.

This is a giclee print of an original glass mosaic, with a limited edition of 50. It has a small border around it, which leaves space for the title, the edition number and my signature at the bottom. It will come with a numbered certificate of authenticity. Frame not included.

The original mosaic size was 76cm x 91cm (approx. 30" x 35 7/8") and the print measures 28.5cm x 34.4cm (approx. 11 1/4" x 13.5").

The paper is Fotospeed natural soft textured bright white, 315gsm.The paper is 100% acid free and is accredited by the Fine Art Trade Guild as of 'Archival Quality' when used with pigment inks giving an image life of 85 + years.

It will be packaged with care.

What is giclee?

The word Giclee comes from the French for "to spray". Giclee prints offer high-resolution imaging and long term colour fidelity through the use of light-fast high quality archival inks.

The process of making a Giclee print involves images being generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various surfaces including canvas, fine art and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better colour accuracy than other means of reproduction. Giclee prints are typically created using professional 8-Color to 12-Color ink-jet printers.
