This gaiwan is gorgeous and works wonderfully. My only complaint is that shipping took a while, but it was shipped across the planet.

Has signs and markings that this is definitely handmade! Passes the quality check for air hole seal, aligned spout, lid, and handle. The pour dribbles a bit, but for the price and the quality of the clay, it's worth the compromise. This is the first time I am dipping my toes into yixing teaware therefore all I have to go by are my due diligence and research. The zini clay feels right, when brewing roasted dark oolongs, it does what zini clay is supposed to do, dampen and balance the tea. To confirm this, I have brewed light oolongs, and it noticeably took away a lot of the delicate flavors. All in all, for a beginner and intro into yixing teaware I am more than satisfied with this teapot. Oriarm have quite a bit of info on where their clay is sourced on their individual listings which helped a ton.
