Description

Tin Type Tintype Victorian Man and women family portrait.

2" by 3"

This is a very old example of the beginning of photography. Antique tintypes are rarely in pristine condition. Their "flaws" contribute to making them so very special and fascinating. Expected characteristics may include: varnish crackling, scuffed/chipped/peeling areas, bends, uneven or crooked cut edges, smears or fingerprints around edges from handling before the varnish sealer had dried.
