Description

The sweetest of fat-bellied jugs, who doesn't love those?

This one is in beautiful condition despite being 40-50 years old. It was made by West German ceramic company Bay in the 60's or 70's in what is now known as the 'fat lava' era.

The jug stands around 20 cm / 8" high, but with a girth of around 50 cm / 20" it is still very substantial, and it has been glazed in a burnt caramel brown with a creamy fat lava over the top. It's almost edible!

This is a vintage item and, as such, may show some signs of wear, but I have found no noticeable flaws, apart from some burst glaze bubbles, which is part and parcel of this style of glaze.

*** Please note, shipping costs are an estimate. If costs turn out to be significantly lower I will refund the excess.

*** Your parcel will be sent using Parcelforce or UPS.

*** I pack with care and will refund you in the unlikely event of breakage or loss in transit.

*** I usually post items out within a (working) day or two, but please let me know if you are in a hurry and I will do my best to accommodate you.

*** I do accept returns, but, due to the high costs of postage and fragile nature of these items, only if the item is not as listed.
