At Decal Folk we cut from high quality vinyl rolls of solid colour and the design of your logo will determine if your logo can be produced..

Custom word art (industry related/ inspirational) can also be produced for your work place/ office space/ workshop...

Suitable surfaces need to be smooth, flat and clean! Well painted plaster/ plaster board which are in good condition (ie. no flaking!), doors, mirrors, metal and tiles etc, are what these decals are made to adhere to..

As long as your surface is smooth, flat and clean the decals will stick!

If you are unsure if the decals will stick to your surface, send us an email and if you are on the good list, I'm sure we could send you a sample to try out before you purchase..

As awesome as our decals are- they won't adhere to every surface..
The vinyl we use is designed to be gentle on walls, easily removable with a non- permanent adhesive.
With this in mind some paint finishes/ wall surfaces may not allow the decal to adhere.
Specially textured paints such as 'suede effect' and bumpy, porous surfaces such as rendered walls, rough wood, canvas and bricks are not suitable.
If your surface is in poor condition (cracking or peeling paint for example) the decals may not adhere and may also pull off paint when removed.
'Washable surface' paints may also repel adhesive as the paint itself is designed to repel dirt and stains.
Refunds will NOT be made for use on unsuitable surfaces.

Here at Decal folk we use high quality, industrial grade vinyl, that is made in Germany.
Our vinyl of choice is specifically designed for interior use, meaning it safe to use on interior walls and does not cause damage when removed.
The vinyl has a matte finish, making it look as though it's painted onto your wall as oppose to a shiny sticker.
Our materials are industry grade- not cheep 'craft' stickers that don't adhere and leave residue upon removal nor do we use outdoor quality vinyl as this has a permanent adhesive and will damage walls.
Each decal is cut from vinyl that is a solid block of colour.
All decals are cut to order, here in Southern-most, rural Cheshire- at Decal Folk.

Smaller decals (hearts, stars, polka-dots) arrive ready to peel and stick. They are super easy to install. All you have to do is decide how and where you want your decals to be placed and simply peel, stick and 'rub down' once applied.. If you want your decals in a geometric pattern then you will need a tape measure, masking tape, scissors (to cut the masking tape) and a plastic card (to rub down the decal once applied) to hand before you start. More detailed decals, (bees, ti-pees) and larger decals and Word Art, will arrive pre-prepared with application tape so they are less fiddly and easier for you to install. Larger decals may be easier to apply with two sets of hands..

As all monitors vary, Decal Folk can not guarantee that the colour will be exactly the same as the one seen on your monitor.. But, if you ask for silver stars we promise not to send you pink ones..
If you require an exact match to your colour scheme, if you ask very nicely we could always send out a small sample.

Decal Folk Wall Decals are made from industry grade vinyl - specifically designed for interior use with a non permanent adhesive that is designed to adhere to walls but also able to be removed easily without leaving residue. However Decal Folk can not guarantee that damage will not occur due to variables out of our control.. We recommend that you test the vinyl on your wall before applying the whole graphic. Decal Folk is not liable for any possible damage to walls or surfaces Decals are applied to.

Our wall decals can be removed just as easily as they are applied. They should simply peel off the wall, however, if they are proving to be a tad stubborn a little heat may be required! Heat the wall decal with a hairdryer and then gently peel the decal from the wall. We use industry grade, removable, interior vinyl so there should be no adhesive or residue left on the wall. In some situations where paint is already loose or the wall is damp/ damaged, paint may peel with the decal so do test an inconspicuous area first.

Decals will come wrapped in acid free tissue paper (as oppose to plastic). Tissue paper is fully recyclable and is more than enough to protect your decals in transit as they are popped inside a postal tube (that can also be recycled).

Plastic Packaging isn't neccasssry for our decals - so we simply dont use it!
