Idyllic Embroidered and Cross Stitch Deer in Forest Scene

Idyllic is the apt adjective for this project. It is a combination stamped cross stitch and embroidery on cotton depicting 4 deer beside a brook. It's probably one of the first pieces I did when I was a child and discovered cross stitching. That makes it at least fifty years old and in all that time, there is not one stain or pulled thread in the whole darn thing. It is 11 1/2" by 15 1/2" in size. It will be shipped rolled and ready for a pillow cover or wall hanging.
