Orange Gold Blue Chinese Crystals Kuminihimo Japanese Braiding Necklace with Lampwork Hamsa Hand Bead Arizona Copper Link

Description

This is a very unique OOAK necklace. I created this necklace using the ancient form of Japanese braiding called kuminhimo. The braiding part is made with Chinese crystal rondelles, colors of orange, yellow/gold and blue. The colors of the Chinese crystals complement with the artist created Hamsa hand lampwork bead. I don't remember the name of the artist who made this bead, design is on both sides.

The Hamsa bead dangles from the center piece of the necklace. The center piece is an Arizona copper link that measures 1" long and about 1 inch top to bottom. Also, dangling from the link is an artist created round, doughnut shaped metal ring.

The kumihimo part of the necklace is 18" long and at each end is an etched antique bronze cone and then a lobster clasp. Because at each end there is a lobster clasp you could take off the center piece and add another piece that you own.

Total length of the necklace is about 20 1/2 inches.
