All packages ship USPS mail with tracking and insurance for the full retail amount. When you check out, you can choose First Class mail, Priority Mail or Priority Express Mail. Please see shipping estimates above. Please note that these time frames may not be guaranteed by the post office, and therefore if your package does not arrive within these shipping time frame estimates, your shipping fee is not refundable. All shipments come with a tracking number. Please contact me with your address for a more accurate shipping transit time estimate.
All shipments come with a tracking number. After shipping, you should be able to track your box to its destination, however, please note that USPS tracking information is sometimes delayed or not up to date. I don't have any control over USPS and how fast or slow your box reaches you. If you provided a correct shipping address upon checkout but your box does arrive or gets lost in the mail, I will do what I can to help you find the box. However, Sarah Hood Jewelry does not provide refunds or replacements for items that are delayed, do not arrive or get lost in the mail. If you need to order a replacement piece of jewelry for an item that got lost, please note that many one-of-a-kind items may not be able to be remade.
If you are ordering from outside the U.S., your package may incur customs charges and taxes. Custom fees are a tax levied by your own government to offset lost tax revenue when you purchase from another country, and are your responsibility to pay. Please check with your local post office to obtain an estimate of these customs charges if you would like to know what to expect. It is up to the customer to know the customs laws of their own country.

I cannot ship your package as a "gift" or "sample" in order to avoid customs fees. This is not legal.
If you are not satisfied with your Ready-to-Ship item for any reason, you may return it for a refund or exchange. Please contact me within 14 days of receipt of your Ready-to-Ship jewelry to initiate a return.
Ready-to-Ship items that are sized at your request to fit you are not exchangeable or returnable. This includes rings that are sized to fit you.
Custom orders - including rings made to order in your size, bracelets and necklaces with personalized elements, and items designed to your own specifications - are not exchangeable or returnable.
Reserved items (items reserved in your name), and Sale items are not exchangeable or returnable.
Sales on all earrings are final.
I am able to size many rings in my shop. Just ask. Please be certain of your ring size before ordering by having your finger sized at your local jewelry store or by purchasing a ring sizer through my shop. If you need your ring sized after purchase, my ring sizing fee is $20 for most silver rings, and $40 for most gold, palladium and platinum rings. Contact me for a quote on your particular ring. Please note that many rings CANNOT be sized due to various factors such as stones, stone settings or type of metal. Please also note that, as stated above, once rings are sized for you, they are not returnable or exchangeable. I am not able to size rings that other jewelers have made.
I am happy to give you a quote on a gold version of many items in my shop. Please note that quotes on gold jewelry are only good for one week; after that time, I will recalculate the quote based on the current gold market.
