Description

Aqua: Hand Forged Copper Water Sculpture Pendant with Stacked Ancient Roman Glass Slices and Roman Beads, Dangles, Ancient Egyptian Faience, Old Nepali Glass, and Recycled African Glass.

The pendant is handmade with pure copper and is graced with a stunning rich blue green patina that was naturally provoked. This "Aqua" necklace conveys motion, water and relaxation.

The extended pendant is approx. 6.75" long (measured from the top of the stacked Roman Glass to the end of the longest dangle) and it is approx. 2" wide.

The two Ancient Roman glass pieces (that are stacked) vary in size. One is a bit larger and is approx. 30mm. They have beautiful patina as well. Small ancient Roman glass dangles hang from them. Included in this "stacked" effect is an ancient stone, and a copper and silver disk.

The pendant is made of three sections, each represents how water might flow from the top of the pendant to the bottom.

The middle section of this water sculpture pendant is three dimensional and has a curved section in the center with a small copper cup below.

If you can imagine, as the water drips off the stacked pieces, it collects in the little round copper bowl and then continues to flow to the long dangles below.

The dangles are made of hand made copper rings and aqua glass beads and one ancient Egyptian faience bead. The necklace also makes a lovely soft sound when you walk.

Roman glass beads and recycled African beads in shades of green and blue continue throughout the necklace. I placed two clear beads that have copper specks inside of them to pick up the metallic colors in the fountain. These beads are old and from Nepal.

Large, handmade decorated brass clasp.

Length of necklace is approx. 18.25 inches long (includes clasp).

Note: For those who aren't familiar with the metric system, 25mm is about 1 inch.

Shipping policies

Upon payment your item will be tucked into a gift bag and shipped to you via USPS with delivery confirmation (tracking number).

Your purchase will be sent to your Etsy registered address, unless you inform me otherwise. Please communicate via Etsy's "message to seller" function (not Paypal's).

Your order will be sent via United States Postal Service (USPS) priority if domestic. Unless otherwise requested, I ship small box Flat Rate Priority Mail in the US for most necklaces (automatically includes tracking number and $50 insurance).

The package is shipped within 1-3 business days of receipt of payment, usually immediately.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Please note that we are required by law to state the true value of your merchandise on your customs forms and you may be required to pay additional customs fees or duties. Please check with your local post office for fees.

For most countries I ship USPS First Class International. International shipping to certain countries may take longer than expected. Please allow up to 3 weeks for international delivery to Australia, Asia, the South Pacific and Eastern Europe unless you have made special arrangements for expedited shipping.

INSURANCE: I don't insure items unless requested. The additional cost of insurance is paid by the buyer before the item is shipped - notify me before you purchase if you want insurance and I’ll let you know the cost.

DAMAGED AND LOST GOODS: I wrap very well, and am not responsible for goods once they are in transit, since there's no possible way to control what happens once a package is launched into the postal system, especially international shipping.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived in damaged condition, in which case I will cover the return shipping cost.

All packages should have a tracking number, and some of them, if requested, will also need a signature confirmation. I regularly check the status of packages.
