Picture Yourself -Next Season- Standing In Your Garden:

...You look out over the flower beds you have tended so gently...

...Everywhere you look are the most vibrant colors of the rainbow...

...You think back to your visit to Alaska (or maybe you never visited, but you like to imagine that you did)...

...The Jacob's Ladder playfully waves back and forth in the warm summer breeze...

...The fireweed is just beginning its ladders of stunning pink...

...The Arctic Iris is flashing its deep lavender from around your water hose...

...Alaska's state flower has proudly begun its blooms before any of the others...

...and many more...

Your best friend drops by and stops next to you, gasping...

...You turn to your friend and smile...

"Why...I got them online. I ordered them straight from Alaska. And they just keep coming back stronger every year. They remind me of what I left behind when I had to come home from there after vacation. Now I can remember what they looked like all over the mountains and growing next to the salmon-filled streams. They remind me what rest and relaxation are like. Their smells tell me I'm in Alaska again."

...your friend is amazed that these flowers are even available anywhere except in Alaska...

...this could be you, and these amazing wildflowers could be a part of YOUR life every Spring and Summer's day, no matter where you are in the world...

AND DON'T FORGET to pick up some for your friend!

What you'll need to know about these wildflowers in order to own them for yourself:

**Hardy, used to growing in USDA zones 2, 3 and 4 - these wildflowers will bring beauty to your garden for years to come.

**Planting Note: Alaska's FDA planting zones are 3 and 4. This means that any zone the same or higher will be good for them. If you live in a very hot climate, shade them or container plant them for best results.

**Buy Alaska Wildflower Seeds for your garden or for a friend or loved one's garden.

**Plant them in containers anytime or fall and spring for colder climates.

**Now you can be the only person on your block with these breathtaking beauties in your yard.

**These flowers are perennials that keep coming back every year.

**They're tough enough to survive Alaska winters, so they should do great in your yard.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PLANTING: Make sure you follow instructions carefully on the seed packet. Most of these seeds have tough outer shells and require "scarification" (rubbing them lightly on sandpaper) to get them to germinate.

**All seeds are certified "Made In Alaska" by the Made In Alaska program.

Common fireweed grows throughout most of Alaska. Its name comes from its ability to regrow quickly after a fire. The flowers are used to make jelly and honey and the large strands are a source for bees both wild and domestic. The seed of fireweed requires stratification to get good germination, so freezing it before planting is the best method.

Blooming time: July and August. Height: 2-1\/2 to 5 feet, growing from deep horizontal roots.
