According to Norse mythology, Hugin and Munin were a pair of ravens belonging to the Norse god, Odin. Hugin was thought and Munin was memory. They left at dawn and upon returning at dusk, perched on Odins shoulders and whispered their news to him.
These ravens are a reproduction of an original that was discovered in Oland Sweden and is dated 600-700 A.D. They are 2" long not including the fish hooks. I made them out of strong light weight bone resin. It took numerous steps of coloring and polishing to achieve their appearance of polished mammoth ivory, I hope you like the effect as much as I do.
