Secret of Mana is hands down my favorite video game of all time. The Super Nintendo days are often heralded as the glory days of RPGs, and Secret of Mana is a prime example.
It was very difficult to choose a scene from the game because there are so many memorable places, but in the end I was won over by the beautiful pastel artwork of the final boss, the Mana Beast. Sprite is casting Dryad's magic on our hero, while the girl stands by, itching to cast Cure Water at the first opportunity.
You might have noticed that the Mana Beast is much larger in the actual game. I found it interesting to discover that the original sprite was scaled up to make him appear more dominating.
This scene is printed on crystal-clear, optically pure digital acrylic and layered to create a three-dimensional image that brings each scene to life. Each scene is protected by a 12x10" contemporary black picture frame with a viewport matching the aspect ratio of the original screenshot. Mounting hardware is included. I purchased both the Secret of Mana and the Zelda "Take This" shadow boxes as a gift to myself. As a Secret of Mana fan it's hard to come by quality displays. This piece is absolutely stunning. Not only are these nice to look at, they are also framed in a higher quality frame and overall feel very solid, not weak. Two rubber pieces on the back allow the frame to sit at a slight angel producing a small shadow behind each design. The seller communicated right away with me and shipping was 2-3 days. The boxes came better packaged than 95% of things I buy. I will be ordering more in the near future.

Secret of Mana was the first RPG I ever played, back in elementary school with my best friend, and I have a huge amount of nostalgia for this game. This shadow box was on my wish list for awhile, but I postponed buying it when I saw that AR was being added over time to other scenes in this store. The wait was worth it! The artwork and presentation itself is gorgeous, and the animated aspect of it just adds to how cool this box is. It came wrapped very safely, and shipped quickly. I'm very happy with this purchase. :)
