Description

A remarkable example of 1930's detailing! The bodice and skirt front are in one and shaped at the waistline with tucks for fitting. Fins of narrowly hemmed flounces are incorporated at the side seams of the skirt front and back and placed along the optional sleeves.

This digitally drafted 10-piece pattern fits size 36" bust, 30" waist and 39" hip. The instructions were missing from the original pattern, so I have provided un-illustrated instructions and the gown is surprisingly simple to put together for the intermediate sewing level.
This pattern comes with diagrammatic and textual information on re-sizing.

Example in the photos are customer projects and are not for sale.

All of my patterns are full size on 18-lb translucent bond paper and in stock as I print them on demand. This bond paper is sturdy enough that it doesn't tear like pattern tissue, yet it is light enough to see and cut through easily enough. This pattern also comes with illustrated, basic adjustment instructions.

Celebrating over 15 years of bringing you accurately reproduced and multi-size vintage patterns!

Beautiful pattern, it fit my measurements perfectly! I am very grateful that the pattern came with a sheet stating that the original pattern might have been altered by its original owner, and that a mock-up dress was recommended before cutting the fashion fabric. It turned out that the dress was 3" short in length hitting at the ankle so I added inches at the hem, and it also gave me the opportunity to work out the tailoring the second time through so I could streamline my assembly. The paper it was printed on is very thick and durable. If I didn't have as much experience as I do with patterns I might have been confused at the numbering of the darts, so I'd say this is an easy level dress with intermediate level instructions.
