My ongoing research and learning of new ways to bring my customers better products, different concepts and ways of making "old" ways better is beneficial to my customers and quite innovative. Some cars use adhesive now in lieu of welding because it's lighter in weight and has a more durable build. My adhesive is jeweler's grade for jewelry. In addition, this process using adhesives over welding has been around for years and is used in the automotive industry, point being is that it works, and less weight on the cuff. While it may be a new concept to some, does not mean it's not good, quite the contrary. - see here also demonstrating my cufflinks how they stand up to being hit by a hammer! Chemical engineers told me about this and it works you decide !
