This Rare Commemorative Olympic Flame Porcelain Plate, designed by Marie Lanza Wiese was made in limited numbers for the 1980 Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid, New York.
This white china plate features an Olympic torch over the Olympic logo, encircled by legend LAKE PLACID OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES, all in blue.
The plate is edged with a gold rim and is marked on the back “LIMITED EDITION FROM AN ORIGINAL DESIGN BY MARIE LANZA WEISE.
It is marked 223 of 2000.
This commemorative plate measures 10 ½ inches across and is in excellent condition with no damage, scratches or flaws.
Talk about rare, I have only seen one other plate like this for sale in the last two years. This one has been in our possession since the 1980 olympic games.
Perfect for the Olympic memorabilia collector or fan as well as plate collectors, this plate will be sure to please any collector.

If you are not completely satisfied, we will refund the cost of the product.
Buyer's are responsible for all return shipping, packing and insurance charges regardless of the reason for return.
My items are packed carefully. They should arrive safely but if you receive damaged goods, please notify us the damage within 48 hours of receiving the item accompanied with photograph/s of any damages, (We will accept photographs by email). Please keep the damaged item and packaging until we contact USPS. We will let you know if we would like the item returned or if we need to involve USPS and when we can issue a refund.
Please contact me three days of receipt if you want to return an item. Refunds are given upon receipt of the item in its original condition; buyer is responsible for return shipping. Returns must be postmarked within 7 working days of receipt.

If your item is damaged in shipping, please send me a photo of the damage via Etsy conversation as stated above.
