"Daniil Kharms (1905-1942) is dead, so he couldn’t draw this comic. the idea that he could is preposterous in the extreme. Luckily, he did manage to write the words before he popped his clogs (starvation, psychiatric hospital).

In this here tome Rob (Marland, alive) commingles his perfectly adequate drawings with Kharms’ surreal micro-stories about Alexander Pushkin (bullet to the belly, i.e. how the poor chap croaked). I (Rob) have heard that Pushkin is most famous for his work as a Russian scribbler. Well done, you! (Pushkin.)

Nikolai Gogol also makes an appearance for some reason. There’s no avoiding that guy. Total dickhead."

Cover printed in three colours on 160gsm card stock. Interiors printed in black and white on 80gsm paper. Every copy is hand-cut. 16 pages. 125x175mm / 5x7in.

If you purchase more than one physical comic, you will likely be charged more than necessary for shipping: I will refund 100% of the excess shipping costs after dispatch.

I was very surprised that you wanted to draw Russian poet whose poems and prose are considered to be untranslatable.
