Description

NEW! Beautiful, all-natural pink quartz bracelet. Oval element is polished on the surface for a smooth, glossy finish, and features striations of multiple pink tone highlights. Features a signature Swarovski crystal. Measures 1.5" x 1.25". Silvertone finish bracelet opens under the centerpiece, with no-pinch hinge on the bottom. Quartz is the second-most-abundant mineral on Earth. Its name is derived from an Ancient Greek work meaning “icy cold” because it was believed to be a form of super-cooled ice. The Irish word for quartz is "grianchloch", which means "sunstone". It was used in Prehistoric Ireland, as for stone tools. There are many different varieties of quartz including a number of semi-precious gemstones like citrine and amethyst. Since antiquity, quartz has been the most commonly for making jewelry and hardstone carvings. Inspired by life on the New England coast and the adjacent White Mountains, Grannique uses natural stones and materials for one-of-a-kind, eye-catching jewelry. Comfortable and elegant, each piece reflects both Mother Nature and the one who wears it!
