Since it's invention about 50 years ago, over a billion tons of plastic have been produced and the number is climbing. Except for a small amount that have been incinerated, close to the same billion ton of plastic is still in environment.

Plastic flatware is not recyclable and the plastic produces toxic contaminants while waiting to be degraded in the landfills.

Some companies have gotten away with providing plastic flatware and instead, they changed to communal silverware. But why would you want to use those?

Bring your own silverware in this gorgeous pouch and don't use disposable plastic flatware. Food tastes so much when you eat with silverware anyway. This pouch is upcycled from a placemat and has a velcro enclosure that can you can adjust the flap to accommodate different size utensils.

Sizes: When folded, 3 1\/2 inches x 7 inches
There are two pockets inside and each pocket measures
1 1\/2 inches x 4 1\/2 inches. The pockets are roomy enough to put two set of spoon and fork or chopsticks or a knife.

Care: Wash in cold water and dry flat.
