Description

These simple 4 panel vests are easy to make and are a great starting point for a weaver who wants to make their own clothing.
The shorter version has a fringed hem which shows the warp nicely. The longer version has a back vent and lined, patch pockets which are stitched on at an angle. both versions close with loops and buttons, the neckline and armholes are finished with bias tape.

Get Weaving patterns have been specifically designed for narrow, handwoven fabrics. Pieces are all of a similar width and by making maximum use of the selvedges there is very little wastage. By using our layout plans and cutting and sewing tips you will have the ingredients to turn your individual, hand woven fabrics into stylish, everyday clothing. Don't be too scared to cut your fabric- we have a Secret Weapon to share with you!
