Description

This is a 'portrait' of a fully loaded touring bike. As a lifelong cyclotourist I am always transported to past tours when I see a bike laden with panniers and other baggage. Nothing says 'freedom' like the sight of a cyclist riding along with everything he or she needs for a week, a month or much longer. This characterful bike belongs to Richard, who asked me to make this print. It may remind you of yours.

As with all my prints I have drawn the image, hand cut the Lino and pressed the prints. The nature of the process means that each print is unique and original as there are slight variations in the way the ink has been transferred.

Black Caligo safe wash oil based ink has been applied to good quality Cansons 224gsm watercolour paper to produce the image. This is a limited edition of 20. The printed area measures 25x20cm on paper size 30x25cm

The print is sold without mount or frame, you will not necessarily receive the print shown. Each print is signed and numbered.

Sale does not convey copyright.

NB. If you like the idea of having a portrait of your bike please contact me for a quotation. It is surprisingly affordable.
